One of those entries again

I know, this is like casting pearls before swine since no one ever reads stuff like this – yes, Ender, I know you read it. *g* Anyway, I’d like to ask you once again not to post my “art” anywhere else without asking me first. Hell, I don’t even care anymore whether you link back to my site, or whether you at least say/write/whatever that I’ve created this wallpaper, or that manip, or those icons… The thing simply is: everyone who is making so-called “fanart” – especially by using photographs or other copyright protected work – is moving in a greyish area of the law. Most companies don’t care much, and won’t hunt down so-called “artists” since it’s not worth all the trouble, but that doesn’t mean everyone on the internet can do what they want.

I really just want to know where the stuff I made is displayed, so that I have a little control over things. It’s seriously not that difficult to contact me. I have a Twitter account, I have Livejournal and Dreamwidth, you can leave a comment on any entry. Gee, I even have eMail. All I’m asking for is that you drop me a little line, like Hey, I like your work. Mind if I post it at [insert site here]? So far, I haven’t turned anyone down – unless he/she/it was really rude.

Thanks for reading.
