About the site

Disillusion Avenue was created in September 2005 and is hosted at Hostloco which is super awesome – at least it fits my needs. It gives my graphics and my fanfictions quite a nice home.

All of the graphics are made by me using Photoshop 7 and Photoshop CS3. The HTML is created by me using TextEdit.

The name “Disillusion Avenue” is based on the eponymous song by Fury in the Slaughterhouse, a German rock band from Hanover who broke up in summer 2008 after more than 20 years. Why I picked that name I honestly can’t recall, but I liked it at that time, and actually, I still do.

About me

My online name is tyffi and I live in Germany; with my pets (a Newfoundland dog and a cat) and my never-to-be husband. I recently finished my studies and currently work as a freelance designer – payment is… it could be better. But that’s always the case, isn’t it?!

My hobbies obviously are playing around with Photoshop, and writing FanFiction. I’m even working on an original novel, but I’m still too scared to “publish” it.
