F.A.Q.

How do you want me to credit?

It's quite easy: either you use one of my buttons, or you set an ordinary text link (link back to the main page http://disillusion-avenue.com).
Please don't link to any other pages than the main page.
When you hold an LJ account and want to give proper credit over there, you can link back to groupdisillusion_ave.

How long have you been making artwork?

Somewhen in 2003 I managed to get Photoshop on my computer and I was determined to find out how it works. I've loved looking at other's wonderful work and wanted to do something like that, too. It took me some time to figure out how it works and since then my art became... well, a bit better. *g*

Did you have any lessons?

Not at all. It was mostly learning by doing, though I used some web based tutorials and the help of my friends.

Can I display your work?

It'd be an honour, though I like to be asked first (it's only fair and I want to know where my art is up). Just send me a short email. Mostly, I say yes; my only rule is that none of my art is altered in any way and always has a link back to my site.

Can you make me a layout/wallpaper/icon/ et cetera?

I normally don't work on request, but you can always check out my LJ community. Every now and then I have too much time on my hands and like to do others a favour.

Will you make more M-Preg manips?

Simple answer: no! Those two I've made were requested, i.e. it was an exception. I'm not into m-preg - I personally think it's slightly disturbing and I didn't have much fun making those manips. I got amazing feedback for those manips, however it's just not my thing and chances I make anything like that ever again are near zero.

When did you start making websites?

Roughly in 2004. I wanted to host my fanfics and fanart online and tought myself some HTML. The result was rather simple, but practice makes perfect - or, better at least - and after a year or so Disillusion-Avenue was born.

Can I do you a favour?

Like I said in the disclaimer on your left, this is just a fansite and makes no money. However, if you e.g. want to write me a fic because one of my manips inspired you, and you're willing to share it with me, I won't say no.
Or, if you have the urgent desire of actually giving me something, you can have a look at my amanzon.de wish list, though I really don't expect anything. This site is mostly for my own special entertainment - and my weekly breakdown.
